There are some disappointing types in this but Kings Temptation isn’t one having won all three starts this campaign and four of his last five. Cage Of Fear is an improving novice who is probably still on a decent mark and Bafana Blue won twice here around this time last year, though needs to bounce back from a poor run at Perth. Pookie Pekan is a regular here but has only run over 3m once before. Pop Rockstar won this last year and is only 3lb higher but LOOKSNOWTLIKEBRIAN won it in 2018 and was successful later here over 3m2f. He was much more like his old self when a close fourth at Warwick last month and there is hope he can build on that here. Empire De Maulde won last time at Hexham but that was over 2m4f and he faces some confirmed stayers here.
