      Verdict

      Racecourse debutant Baywing is related to hurdles winners and is interesting but bumper winner Grove Silver failed to complete on his hurdling bow at Uttoxeter. Lewis and Mixboy made decent starts over timber when finishing second at Ffos Llas and Sedgefield respectively but it's anybody's guess which one of that pair has the better form so a token vote goes to SUBTLE GREY. Donald McCain won this in 2012 with point-to-point winner Corrin Hill and today's representative may follow suit.
