      Verdict

      Betty Grable is still 3lb higher than her last winning mark but she is more than capable in this grade if in the mood. Iolani won over hurdles in March and has won twice on the Flat but Lord Torranaga didn’t find much off the bridle at Ayr last time. MOLINARI (NAP) is easily forgiven his run on heavy going at Haydock and is better judged on earlier efforts on faster ground at Catterick. Those runs give him the edge over penalised hat-trick seeker Puckle and Rocket Rod.
