Verdict

The front-running SAIL AWAY jumped his rivals silly at Aintree in April and a similar effort would have these stretched out. Aucunrisque, a Grade 2/3 winner over timber and a novice chase winner at Uttoxeter, had a pipe-opener over hurdles at Fontwell and will be ready for this. The Banger Doyle is a consistent performer in Ireland while Nells Son had a bit in hand when scoring over the course and distance last month on just his third start over fences

Nells Son 3-1 (11-1) Held up last but in touch, made steady headway from before 3 out, went second before 2 out, going best when led final fence, soon asserted and ran on well closing stages, won at Carlisle 2m hcp (3) sft in Oct beating Glory And Honour (10-5) by 3 1/4l, 7 ran.
