It’s more than a year since Iolani last got his head in front but he’s 9lb lower now. Wor Verge did finish ahead of the veteran at Musselburgh in March but didn’t show much on his reappearance and is 7lb higher than when runner-up in this last year, ahead of She's A Rocca. JOIE DE VIVRE (NAP) won on soft going on the Flat at Thirsk last month and is back on a winning mark over timber. The stiff finish here should suit her style of running and she makes more appeal than the maiden Runwiththetide, though fitness is unlikely to be an issue with the latter. Largy Reach is another still seeking a first victory but Spot On Soph will strip fitter for a run at Hexham and Azof Des Mottes could figure if on a going day.
