Verdict

Diamond Dougal won a nursery at Brighton earlier in the month but carries 6lb extra and HAVANA STAR can race off the same mark as when finding only one too good on his handicap debut in soft going at Hamilton - Kevin Ryan’s charge gets the nod come out best. Excellent Times never looked like catching the winner at Thirsk on her handicap bow and this looks a tougher task but Lucky Lucky Man and Tough Remedy were both placed in novice races last time and are others to consider.
