Verdict

Sophie Clements is reunited with Athollblair Boy, whom she steered into third place at Thirsk two runs ago. Marselan finished ahead of POLAM LANE and Quercus when second at Thirsk last month but the Barrons’ gelding has been steadily coming to hand this season and may now be ready to strike. Elladora was second here last summer and third on her latest start at Hamilton so is preferred to Bobby Shaftoe and Fircombe Hall of the others.
