Anna Barkova made a promising start over this trip on soft ground at Redcar and started favourite on a return visit over an extra furlong but weakened quickly inside the last furlong. Brockholes has also had both starts at Redcar and though improving to finish second to Owaseyf last time the winner has been beaten subsequently. DAVID'S DUCHESS finished a close fourth behind stable companions Lathom and Mr Lupton in the lucrative Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury and was expected to make a successful reappearance at Redcar but was run out of it by Bahamian Dollar. Richard Fahey's filly can get her head in front here, though Red Box is greatly respected as she looked very green on her belated racecourse debut at Brighton.
