Verdict

Jason Maguire has partnered Smart Act, sent off favourite on his reappearance over C&D last month, in four of his five starts. But 10lb claimer Paul O'Brien is on board here while Donald McCain's stable jockey takes the ride on POLARBROOK. That looks highly significant and Kim Bailey's charge, who had form against some decent novices last season, can recoup Uttoxeter losses over this shorter trip. Powerful Ambition should be winning soon and is preferred to the frustrating Rhymers Ha' and Mitchell's Way of the remainder.
