Verdict

Moulin De La Croix needs it soft and will have conditions to suit here but she's probably better over longer trips, despite winning over 2m1f at the start of the month. This may also be on the sharp side for Sunday's Kelso fourth Bocciani and the aforementioned pair could struggle to peg back CARRIETAU. Barry Murtagh's gelding is at his best when allowed to stride out in front and he should get his own way here. It's a while since he was able to compete off a mark this low. Tito Bustillo may be improving over fences but the handicapper has done him no favours here and trainer Lucinda Russell also runs the returning Prosecco.
