In depth

Verdict

Boots And Spurs finished third in better company here last time and should be in the mix but Yarmouth winner Multi Bene has been raised another 5lb for finishing second at Bath on his latest start. Restaurateur is usually thereabouts without being good enough though he's dropping down a grade today while Lanarkshire's maiden win came at Southwell and he's having his first start on Turf. DARK RULER didn't look like catching the winner when runner-up at Hamilton but that was only his third start and Alan Swinbank's charge is taken to open his account on his handicap debut with further progress expected.
