Verdict

Indian Groom took a while to find his bearings over 2m here last month but was making up ground hand over fist in the closing stages and was only a neck behind the odds-on Cadoudlas at the line. That suggests he'll benefit from this extra half-mile, though all of his hurdles form was over shorter. Lord Villez looks thoroughly exposed now but Chapolimoss was in touch when falling over a longer trip on his chasing bow at Catterick and has scope for improvement. MISTER MARKER attracted significant market support in a handicap at Newcastle last time, however, and would have almost certainly won had he not blundered and unseated Fearghal Davis three out. He obviously has ability and is taken to get off the mark over fences today.
