Any number of these have their quirks, so only a minimum stakes investment in OR D'OUDAIRIES is recommended. Mister Potter can be thereabouts if his jumping holds together, while Open De L'sle should handle the ground and can make the frame at a fair price if he is on good terms with himself. The last named has an awkward head carriage and doesn't always impress with his attitude. But he has the ability to go close at a course that seems to bring the best out of him. Sammy Spiderman is another to monitor in the betting, as he goes well at Carlisle and but for a mulish effort last time out, would have been coming here on the back of a respectable run of form. However, Or D'oudaries has the most consistent profile on offer and, as he is far less exposed over fences than the majority of his rivals, the seven-year-old can be fancied to start paying his way for his new yard at the first time of asking.
