This looks a better than average maiden for the track. Belle Vale was well beaten when runner-up at Ffos Las though the heavy ground probably didn't help. Hillside Dream has done reasonably well but may have to wait for a nursery and Invermere looks to have more of a chance after decent runs at Wetherby and Chester. Thetis made a very promising start in a Newmarket maiden and will have come on enough to get into contention but the vote goes to GOLDEN STUNNER, who really caught the eye when staying on over a furlong shorter at Windsor.
