In depth

Verdict

It's probably worth following SLEEP IN FIRST now that James Ewart's novice has struck form. He got off the mark over fences at Sedgefield last month and followed up easily at Newcastle eight days ago when Prince Tam was a distant fourth. A penalty may not be enough to prevent the hat-trick. Sergeant Pink won at Ayr in January and hinted at a revival here last month but Red Kingdom needs a longer trip and Against The Wind is surely best watched after two years on the sidelines and it's a long time since Authentic Act showed any worthwhile form.
