    Verdict

Pete finally ended a long losing run at Sedgefield last time. He has every chance of a follow-up if Lucy Alexander can time his challenge right again here but the hat-trick-seeking ENDEAVOR looks a safer investment. Dianne Sayer's six-year-old carries a 7lb penalty for his length-and-a-half defeat of Barliffey at Kelso last time but idled on the run-in that day and was value for more. Andorn is high enough in the weights now but still makes more appeal than Perth second Funky Munky and Highland River probably didn't beat much at Towcester on Wednesday.
