      Verdict

      GALE FORCE MAYA (NAP) only had to be pushed out to score over course and distance last month. She’s been generally progressive on Turf and may be capable of overcoming a 6lb higher mark with Paula Muir claiming back most of that. Michael Dods also runs Kolossus but he’s proving hard to place. Nubough has started favourite in three of his last four runs but only won one of those and may find a couple too good again at the weights. Beryl The Petal couldn’t complete her hat-trick off this mark at Pontefract while Tenax was only third when odds-on at York.
