In depth

Verdict

Real Armani was only beaten a neck by the in-form Ballybreen on his chasing bow over 3m here a month ago. He’s been raised 4lb but the drop in distance may suit and he might well record a first career victory. But a run in a jumper’s bumper at Newcastle might have restored a bit of confidence in DIVINE PORT and Pauline Robson’s 10-year-old is back on the same mark as when successful over 2m here last season. Up Helly Aa King is a course and distance winner who has been knocking on the door this term and he shouldn’t be far away again but the remaining trio probably have a bit to prove at present.
