Verdict
Sedgefield winner Grove Silver would have every chance in this on his latest second at Sandown, despite the penalty. Wolf Sword ran well behind the odds-on One Track Mind at Wetherby and looks to be improving while Alphabet Bay led for a long way when fifth at Doncaster and is another with scope. Winning pointers Tambour Major and Westend Star are probably also capable of better than they've shown so far but this can go to BECAUSESHESAIDSO. He stayed on strongly to beat a subsequent hurdles winner in a bumper here in the autumn and got bogged down in the Leicester mud on his hurdling debut.
