Farm Pixie started favourite at Kelso on the back of a good run at Sedgefield but failed to fire and plugged on at one pace. Basford Ben won a similar race over this trip at Wetherby, when Whiskey Ridge pulled up, and though running quite well there a couple of weeks ago he requires quicker ground than this.
