Verdict

It's been almost a year since Crackerjac Boy sprang a surprise in an amateurs' race over C&D and he'll surely need this. Livvy Inn, third at Kelso last month, has to go on the short-list, however, and Funky Munky should strip fitter for his reappearance. SOME LAD travelled strongly for a long way over a longer trip at Kelso two weeks ago. The drop in distance should help Alison Hamilton's maiden and can finally open his account in this weak-looking handicap.
