Momkinzain went close over track and trip last time but has done all his winning on a faster surface so far and recent Kelso winner Turtle Watch also has something to prove in soft ground. It was good going when Unex Canaletto also won at Kelso back in May so a chance is taken on the less-exposed BERNARDELLI. He showed his first worthwhile form when runner-up on his recent return to action and Tony McCoy's presence suggests he can get the meeting off to a good start on what looks a strong book of rides for the champion jockey.
