In depth

Verdict

Winning bumper PENNY MALLOW has an extra penalty here after completing a double over timber, the latest when making all at Wetherby, but there's plenty more to come and a hat-trick beckons. Red Reminder followed a good run here by scoring at Sedgefield and is another on the upgrade but Lady Babs faces a stiff test on her debut over hurdles after showing promise in bumpers. Lily's Gem won a bumper here in 2018 and was only beaten a neck on the track in November but she disappointed on heavy going at Ayr last time. Shabba Dada Do did better than expected at Musselburgh and will be suited by today's longer trip.
