Quite a few of these have shown plenty of promise and we will side with the Pat Haslam trained Golda Seek, Viva Volta and Kings Heir may do best of the others. Golda Seek made her debut in a strong looking maiden at Ripon. She belied odds of 25/1 to finish under four lengths behind the John Dunlop trained winner and in what looks a much easier contest she should collect first prize. Viva Volta has similar claims having finished third behind just over three lengths behind The History Man at York. Tim Easterby's juveniles invariably improve on their debut runs and so he must be a threat to all. Mark Johnston's Kings Heir is also expected to leave his Beverley debut run well behind and looks the pick of the others. With plenty of stables involved here that like a tilt at the ring the market should be closely monitored, but without that knowledge we will have to go along with Golda Seek.
