      Verdict

      Stickleback is an out-and-out stayer and stablemate Rayadour is preferred over this trip. The latter finished four lengths ahead of Jan Smuts when third at Newcastle last time. Chivers wasn't beaten far over this trip at Musselburgh 10 days ago but Eton Rambler steps up in distance after his third at Chepstow and has never won off a mark this high. BALLYGLASHEEN (NAP), a very useful hurdler, was surprisingly beaten at Chepstow on Saturday evening but probably found that 1m2f an insufficient test of stamina. It's significant that he's turned out again quickly and has travelled up from Wales for this - Jamie Spencer's booking is another positive.
