RED RIVERMAN sets a tough standard to eclipse here, having gone close in both starts to date, and he can gain reward with success this time. This sort of trip and fast ground should be ideal for William Haggas's juvenile and a repeat of his latest effort when just held at Ayr would probably be good enough. Sir Mark Prescott's newcomer Captain Brown is nicely related and starting off over the right sort of trip, so support for him would be interesting, while Blue Deer should improve for his course and distance debut run, although he did look in need of a stiffer test of stamina than this. Marked Card may need more time based on what we have seen, while Handicraft can go much better for a yard that does well on its forays to this track.
