Verdict

King Athelstan is 7lb higher than when scoring here in August but may improve on his second outing after wind surgery. Couldn't Could She was still well beaten when placed at Chepstow but today’s apprentice was on board when she won at Windsor last year while Herm’s recent success came in Guernsey. Passing Clouds went close to finally winning when narrowly beaten at Kempton but a speculative vote goes the way of FAIR POWER off his current mark looking to end a long losing run having won two of only three outings at the track including a course and distance success.
