      Verdict

      John Bridger had a winner on this card 12 months ago and can score again with the veteran SHIFTING STAR. He's now 4lb lower than his last winning mark and doesn't know how to run a bad race, as he showed when third on his return to the Turf at Windsor. Stormbound won at Lingfield in February and was only beaten half-a-length in a claimer on the artificial surface at Chantilly later so comes into the reckoning but Sixties Love was beaten almost three lengths by Bobby Benton at Lingfield in December and is only 4lb better off. Bloodsweatandtears and Hawk Moth have both gone well here in the past but lack a recent run.
