This is a trappy affair to round off the card and all of the four runners Waterside, My Princess, Pillars of Wisdom and Kabeer look to have a solid chance but we will give the narrow vote to Waterside. The selection has plenty in his favour today as he is fit from a winter campaign on the all-weather, he has proven form on this track and if he runs up to his best he looks the one to beat. The fact that Ryan Moore, who ride this track so well, is on board is another bonus. My Princess has winning form over this course and distance and she was in good form towards the end of last season. However, she needed her first run last season when she was well beaten and on that basis we will oppose her. Pillars of Wisdom is a classy colt and he will go close if he is fit enough to do himself justice but he is another that needed his first run last season and he may be best watched today. Kabeer will try and set the pace here and with this in mind Darryll Holland is the right man to have on board, but his best form is over a slightly longer trip. This is a fascinating contest and for the winner we will return to Waterside as our tentative choice.

Kabeer 16-1 (8-11) Soon led, clear 3f out, edged right and headed near finish, 2nd of 11, 1/2l behind Habshan (9-3) at Lingfield 1m hcp 0-75 (5) pol.
