        Verdict

        Whitby Jet landed a double over 1m2f on the all-weather early in the year but has been beaten twice off today's higher mark since. GAELIC SILVER only won a lowly claimer last time but scored by five lengths and an apprentice's 7lb claim may give him the edge in this. Both Queen Aggie and Uncle Dermot failed to cope with a rise in the weights for earlier victories but Tax Reform has slipped down the handicap since arriving from Ireland. He may figure back on this surface after a handful of starts on the Polytrack.
