MIXING gets the vote in the finale over Sagunt and Saloon. The selection was disappointing when he did not get the run of the race at Kempton last time, but he had previously been in good form at that venue recording three course successes, and he has also got winning form here. He has got ground conditions to suit and he looks the percentage call in an open finale. Sagunt is interesting as he was the subject of a decent gamble at Great Leighs last time when he was only narrowly denied. Sean Curran is pretty shrewd so if the market speaks in his favour again then it could pay to take the hint. Similar comments would apply to his stable-mate Saloon. He was also well-backed last time, but like Sagunt his form prior to that had been moderate so it will be interesting to see if he can build on his improved run when last seen. Course and distance form can count for a lot at Brighton so Bundle Up is another to consider. The market could be very informative in this race, but Mixing has plenty to recommend him and he is put forward as the pick.
