Radiator Rooney seems unlikely to be far away, Sherjawy didn't fare too badly last time but a chance is taken with CAUSTIC WIT. The veteran performer ran about as well as could have been expected in a Warwick claimer and is entitled to come on for that run. His sole success last year came in this contest from a 5lb higher mark and he's partnered by a jockey who is high on confidence at present. Radiator Rooney has been running relatively well of late without threatening the principals but he may just need the cards to fall right in order to gain a deserved success and rates highly in this company. Sherjawy has never finished in the money in seventeen attempts on grass but he wasn't beaten too far on either of his last two starts which raises hope for his chances in this company but we'll take a chance that the veteran performer, Caustic Wit, can repeat last year's success.
