Verdict

HABANERO STAR is potentially still well treated on the pick of her earlier form and she proved at Yarmouth that the prospect of fast ground isn’t something the fazes her. Rivas Rob Roy has hit the crossbar on his last three visits to Brighton so the handicapper has a fair idea as to what the seven-year-old is capable of. Grandstand won over the course and distance from 4lb higher in September while Delahoussaye and Amalfi Salsa both aim to break their duck at the 15th time of asking though the latter has campaigned off higher marks on the Turf in the past.
