Verdict

Frantical wasn’t beaten far over 1m2f at Bath recently but earlier attempts at today’s trip fail to boost confidence. Kirkland Forever was still beaten seven lengths when runner-up over track and trip last time and Rocksette was beaten even further when third at the same meeting here. Duggary placed at Chelmsford a week ago but the less exposed SIR FRED gets the vote having placed in both starts over 1m4f so far and this weak handicap looks easier than his latest task at Yarmouth.
