LOYAL ROYAL can race off a lower mark than when winning at Lingfield last week and is selected accordingly. Milton Bradley's gelding has been around the block but this strong-traveller was rewarded at Lingfield last time when swooping for a cosy success under Liam Keniry. He keeps the ride this afternoon and off a 4lb lower mark now returned to turf he is hard to oppose. He may have most to fear from course specialist Mandhooma now dropped in grade, although it should be said that both Big Boom and Super Frank both look fairly treated at present. Bermondsey Bob is consistent and not discounted although his best runs have arguably come on flatter tracks and despite a good run here in the past he is opposed, as are the lighter-weighted pair of Pipers Piping and Novastasia.
