        Verdict

        Bond Jovi appears better on the all-weather than on turf and has been struggling since narrowly landing a weak maiden at Southwell last November. Majik appreciated cut in the ground when getting off the mark in a Haydock handicap and should go well off a 6lb higher mark being lightly raced and open to further progress. Pheckless confirmed the promise of his placed effort at Lingfield when coming late to land a 7f claimer at Southwell but may find this on the sharp side.
