UPAVON makes a quick reappearance after winning an apprentices’ race at Newmarket on Friday. A winner without a penalty, Stuart Williams’ charge is worth sticking with in this. Jaywalker made a winning start at Lingfield back in 2014 and went close on his only start since when second over track and trip earlier this month. He should go close again along with Major Pusey, also a runner-up here last month. Upstaging has been thereabouts on the all-weather of late but has yet to win a handicap while Quintus Cerialis has shown his best form on the all-weather tracks so far.
Monumental Man 16-1 (8-8) Chased leader, driven over 2f out, weakened over 1f out, last of 9, 8 1/4l behind Marmalady (8-8) at Goodwood 5f hcp (3) gs in Apr.
