    Verdict

    KEEPER failed to land the odds at Lingfield on his handicap debut when beaten less than a length by the progressive Yagan. He can race off the same mark in this weaker contest with first-time headgear likely to bring about improvement. Tanglewood Tales placed over a shorter trip here last time and is preferred to Hooves Like Jagger, who was due to run at Nottingham yesterday, but both Patroon and Swivelstic have yet to show any worthwhile form.
