          Verdict

          A moderate event, with several disappointing types on show. One who can be relied on to run his race is Massey. He did nothing but improve on the sand throughout the winter and is still looks well treated. Rapt, turned in a sound performance, albeit in a seller last time and should run well, while the maiden Canovas Kingdom, handles this track and could run well at a big price.
