In depth

Verdict

The owner Jaber Abdullah has two newcomers in this maiden in the shape of Mick Channon's son of Bahamian Bounty in Blue Deer and David Simcock's Baldini filly Dare It And Smile and both have to be respected but it is often an advantage to have racing experience and it may be worth siding with Denis Coakley's CHIEF OF MEN, who made a pleasing debut in a Salisbury maiden won by Ardour and he can open his account at the second time of asking. Jeremy Noseda's Ebony Song has disappointed in both starts so far and looks best watched, while Maggie's Treasure has earned a rating of 67 and has claims but is clearly nothing out of the ordinary.
