ASK JENNY is tentatively put forward to score in this handicap that brings and end to proceedings; Spic 'n Span and Kalligal also make the shortlist. The Patrick Morris trained mare has plenty of ability but she is an infuriating customer who either finds trouble or gets going too late. It was a case of the latter last time out. She has proven to be a bit of a risky betting proposition in the past but amongst such lowly company she should be capable of returning to winning ways here. Spic 'n Span had been in some decent form on the all weather this year, but his return to the turf last time was less than convincing. He should have come on some for the run though and if he can transfer some of his Southwell form to the turf then in a race of this quality he should make the minors. Roger Ingram trained Kalligal is the last to make our shortlist but is another who isn't in the best of form recently. His last outing saw him finish behind the rest but he is expected to fare much better here. We strongly advise checking the market for this one as it could reveal some much needed clues, but we will side with Ask Jenny.
