    Verdict

MULTAMIS (NAP) has won twice at Epsom this year so should feel at home on these gradients - he can take a 4lb rise in his stride. Long Call hasn’t raced since an unlucky run at Kempton in January but Alnadir was second again at Windsor last week and is in better form than Double Reflection. Noble Account is a pound out of the handicap and Nonios, better on the all-weather, was due to run yesterday at Bath.

    Formwatch

Multamis (IRE) 9-2 (9-10) Tracked leaders, headway on outside over 2f out, went 2nd final 150 yards, strong challenge close home, led post, won at Epsom 1m 2f hcp (4) gd in Jul beating Allegiant (9-9) by shd, 7 ran.

Double Reflection 33-1 (9-6) Held up towards rear, effort over 1f out, never dangerous, 7th of 8, 18 3/4l behind Ladies First (9-0) at York 1m 2f hcp fll (3) sft in Jul.

Alnadir (USA) 4-1 (9-7) Led and set even pace, ridden and headed 2f out, rallied on inside to lead again inside final furlong, headed and outpaced towards finish, 2nd of 4, 1l behind Universal Order (9-8) at Bath 1m 2f hcp (4) fm in Aug.

Long Call 9-1 (9-0) Slowly into stride, held up towards rear, headway when not much room over 1f out, closing when short of room well inside final furlong, snatched up and looked to finish full of running, 6th of 12, 2 1/4l behind Central City (9-1) at Kempton 1m 3f hcp (5) pol in Jan.

Noble Account 16-1 (9-9) Blindfold off slightly late and missed break, always in rear, 7th of 10, 5 3/4l behind Chance (10-11) at York 1m 1f hcp (4) gd in Jul.

Nonios (IRE) 20-1 (9-5) Steadied start, held up in last pair, headway between horses inside final furlong, kept on same pace, 3rd of 8, 3 3/4l behind Mandarin (9-3) at Windsor 1m 2f hcp (4) gf in Jul.
