In depth

Verdict

Fire Fighting is being kept busy and was due to run last night at Sandown. This would be a drop in grade if he took his chance but most of his rivals arrive in decent form. Serena Grae is on a hat-trick after victories at Chepstow and Bath but, like Ffos Las scorer Penny's Boy, she has an extra 6lb to shoulder. Sandy Cove couldn't justify favouritism in his last two starts on the Polytrack and is 3lb out of the handicap here. The penny finally dropped with MUHAWALAH at Carlisle last time and that should have given him a bit of confidence. Quirky types can thrive here so we'll take him to double his tally.
