Saint Irene had hinted at ability on occasions before landing a gamble in a lady riders' event at Salisbury. She has a penalty to carry here but shouldn't be far away with a repeat performance. Whinging Willie has run a couple of decent races in similar grade here recently and has slipped to a fair mark while Tooley Woods has joined Tony Carroll after winning a Leicester seller and will be winning again before long. However, he was behind TIGERTOO when Stuart Williams' charge finished runner-up at Wolverhampton and that form should be confirmed with the latter expected to go one better.
