In depth

Verdict

Thunderoroad gained his third victory on his 47th start over 1m2f at Chelmsford when DEVORGILLA was just over two lengths back in third. The latter was having just her sixth start and was staying on so is taken to reverse the form over the longer trip. For Love Of Louise was having her first start for Amanda Perrett when well beaten at Kempton in May but has a superb pedigree and could do with a victory for the paddocks. It’s difficult to raise much enthusiasm for any of the three-year-olds.
