Any time OCEAN COUNTESS turns out a Brighton you'd be brave to oppose her, so we won't, while Aegean Shadow has to be considered and Buxton also goes well here so makes the list. As course specialists go the pick is one of the best scoring four times from fives starts at the venue. She won well on her return when taking on course and distance and with that run likely to bring her on she can win from a revised mark. Aegean Shadow looks a real threat having won on debut before putting to bed a poor run to win of her first start as a three-year-old. She is unexposed so should improve and is likely to be going close. Buxton added his second course and distance win in some style last time and looks to have real claims on that while Spinning Ridge was expected to chalk up a two-timer last time and made a bold bid. Rondeau is consistent and another who likes this venue but Ocean Countess is hard to beat here and she should be winning again.
