A tricky handicap that can go to Lara Falana, who is selected in preference to Pay The Silver and Forest Tune, who should make a real fist of things if they run anywhere near their best. The same comments apply to Qabas, who should have benefited from his reappearance run. However, like a few of these, he has a tendency to find little when he comes off the bridle and is not one to rely upon too heavily to give his all in a tight finish. The same can be said of Pay The Silver, who often leaves himself with too much to do at the end of his races. A scenario that does not really suit at this course and he may again have to settle for a minor role. In contrast to Lara Falana, whose best efforts have come when she has raced with the pace and she may be allowed an easy lead in this company. The Brooke Sanders-trained mare is also back on a winning mark and, as a consistent sort that is on a fair mark at present, Lara Falana is given a confident vote here.
