Verdict
William Haggas trained last year’s winner and PINK CRYSTAL (NAP) looks to have leading claims having won with plenty in hand at Thirsk a fortnight ago. Tony Carroll runs four with Sandown winner Recon Mission stepping up in trip though stablemate Doc Sportello won here back in May. Michaels Choice won a lower grade sprint at Salisbury recently while Smeaton's Light can figure back down in class today. Sir Oliver has been competing over 7f since finishing third in last year’s renewal though is 5lb higher on this occasion.
