Baltic Prince was more like his old self at Chester four weeks ago but FRANK BRIDGE (NAP) is in such good form that he's difficult to oppose. He's won three of his last four – two of them on this track – and wasn't beaten far in the other. A penalty obviously complicates matters but the handicapper may not yet have got to grips with the improving three-year-old. Port Lairge runs his best races on this track but the assessor is doing him no favours. Marcle has been creeping up the weights without winning and it's a while since Snappy Guest got his head in front, though recent rain is a plus.
