Verdict

Dropped in grade SPANISH ACCLAIM should be hard to beat with Chinese Democracy looking the biggest threat now on a decent run of form and Rathbawn Girl is the best of the remaining trio. Still unexposed, the Andrew Balding trained selection was a comfortable winner a Warwick on handicap debut before not being disgraced off a comparable weight to that he carries here. This is a lot easier than that last assignment and he should be too good. Chinese Democracy won back-to-back races in mid July and bounced back to form with an encouraging run last time. She's up in the handicap despite that defeat and that is far from ideal. Rathbawn Girl won at this track in June but despite another reverse last time is up in the weights again while The Human League and Silvee will both need to improve to get on top. There could be something that surprises in this line-up but Spanish Acclaim has scope for more and should benefit for a step down in class.
